"I can't say enough good things about my experience with Michael Rowland. When my wife and I decided it was time to sell our old house in order to get a little more space, we knew exactly who we would call. I had known Mike for years and his experience in the mortgage world as well as real estate made him an obvious choice. Mike and I went back and forth for 2 or 3 months just discussing what my wife and I were looking for and when we were ready, we pulled the trigger. Mike did an outstanding job evaluating our property, recommending staging, setting a price, etc. The photographer he recommended did a beautiful job with the photos and our listing was a success. We sold for more than we were hoping for and the deal was closed extremely quickly. Mike even helped us out by recommending somebody who came out very last minute to fix a plumbing issue in our laundry room that we didn't know about until we unhooked our washing machine. Next, it was time to find our new house. Unfortunately, we lost out on our first 3 offers (Winter 2020 and Spring 2021 was crazy time), but offer 4 was accepted. With Mike's guidance, we even managed to get the house for under the list price and with items fixed off the home inspection. In the year and a half since buying us a forever home, I've had countless people ask how our experience was with our REALTOR®. I never hesitate to tell them that I could not have been happier with Mike. I'm happy to give him 5 stars in this review and if you chose to go with him, I'm sure you will too."

One of my work buddies recommended his agent, which ultimately led to me meeting and working with Michael. Considering I had no familiarity with the area or with buying a house, he made the entire experience about as smooth as could be. He set up multiple properties to view that lined up with what I wanted, and fit my budget. When I found the right house, he expedited the whole process, negotiating with the seller on my behalf to get a good deal. A long-time resident of Hampton Roads, he is a wealth of knowledge on the area as well as on house renovations. As an absolutely clueless first-time homeowner, I've hit him up a couple of times for recommendations on various projects and he's always taken time to give in-depth responses, even now long after closing. Between him and YouTube DIY videos, I've learned a ton over the past few years.
